Discover Melbourne at first light on our Yarra Sunrise Running Tour. This small group tour explores Melbourne’s rich history, guiding runners through Melbourne’s famous parklands to visit some of the city’s most impressive landmarks.
This 8km running tour operates daily at 7am and we’ll begin our adventure at Federation Square, the city’s cultural hub and home to a variety of world-class events, restaurants, bars and specialty stores. Together, we’ll embark on a journey through Melbourne’s famous parklands along the Yarra River, as your tour guide will share with you the story behind the hidden beauties and impressive historical landmarks along the way.
During our tour, we'll uncover the story of Melbourne's settlement by acknowledging the traditional owners of the land in which we run. We'll also bring to life the rich sporting history of Melbourne, before crossing the Yarra River and making our way toward the Shrine of Remembrance where we'll observe a moment of respect and take in the views of Melbourne.
As we reach the end of the Yarra Sunrise Tour, we will run by Melbourne’s everflowing Yarra River, before making our way to one of our favourite cafes for a post-tour coffee as the mist rises off the Yarra River.
